💡 Note: All university-wide general pre-internship forms (including Chinese/English versions) are centrally provided and updated in real-time by the Office of Research and Development. Visit the Office of Research & Development internship forms site and download and complete the applicable internship forms. The forms are available in both Chinese and English, and undergraduate and graduate students use different sets of forms.

    ⚠️ Agreement Regulations: The internship agreement (Form 3) must be signed in triplicate (three identical copies). Please select and sign either the salary-bearing agreement or the learning-oriented agreement based on whether the internship provider provides compensation.

  • ⚠️ Compulsory Seminar Regulations For: Undergraduate / Master's
    Students must attend the Internship Safety, Rights, and Ethics Seminar prior to their internship. The Office of Research and Development hosts this seminar every semester (2 sessions before the summer vacation). Please note: Students participating in internships must attend a session held within the past year.

    Our department attaches extreme importance to internship safety. All student interns are covered by Group Accident Insurance. The department office will arrange insurance coverage according to the actual months and duration of the student's internship.

International Exchange Students: Credit Transfer Procedures

Governing Authority: Office of International Affairs (OIA)

Purpose of Guide: Outlines the official steps for outbound international exchange candidates to successfully transfer and waive the 2 required university credits for the Off-Campus Internship graduation requirement.

🛫 Phase 1: Prior to Outbound Departure
  1. Submit Study Abroad Application: Initiate your application for international student exchange (with a minimum study duration of 2 months) adhering closely to the official timeline published by the Office of International Affairs (OIA).
  2. Secure Host Institution Acceptance: Undergo the screening process and successfully secure a placement from your selected host institution or partner university abroad.
  3. Complete Outbound Clearance Form: Prior to departure, fill out the official "Taipei Tech Student Clearance Form for Overseas Internships."
  4. Complete Multi-Office Verification: While completing your clearance paperwork, you are legally required to fulfill the following three cross-department approvals:
    • Department Level Approval: Submit the "Taipei Tech Department of English Internship Application Form" along with a photocopy of your host institution's official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to the department office for institutional review and records, and formally notify the internship coordinator.
    • OIA Enrollment Audit: Submit your files to the International Cooperation Division at OIA to verify your official exchange assignment.
    • Cross-Office Joint Verification: Route your application through the Office of Research and Development (RND) and the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) for final administrative review seals.
🛬 Phase 2: Upon Return and Re-entry
  1. Submit Study Reports & Credentials: Immediately upon returning to Taiwan, submit your official certificate of completion or transcript issued by the host university, along with your Study Abroad Reflection Report, to the department office for validation.
  2. Execute Academic Credit Transfer: Follow the strict regulatory protocols set by the OAA Registrar Division to formally execute the credit transfer for the undergraduate course "Off-Campus Internship" (2 credits), fulfilling your graduation requirement.
