The Taipei Tech MA program offers graduate students a solid foundation in critical thinking, research, and writing. MA students develop skills that will serve them long after they graduate—they learn to think and write clearly, they learn the intricacies of the English language, they learn to develop their own original research project and to see it through, and they become more culturally literate, allowing them to be more creative thinkers and leaders. The program has an excellent balance between breadth and depth; students can explore their interests and then focus on an area of specialization including but not limited to Applied Linguistics, Cultural Studies, Literature, Cross-Cultural Communication, Translation, Teaching & Curriculum Design, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Media Studies and Creative Industries (including Film Studies).
