Symposium
本系教師以定期的研讀會拓展視角,期能與時俱進,故自 94 學年度起開始舉行「年度語言教學與文學分析研討會」,期許每一年度系內同仁將研究與教學心得互相交換,相互切磋,多位教師因此激盪出精闢的論文,並加以發表。如余盛延老師 97 年在本系第五屆研討會中所發表之論文 (“The Contingency of Silences in Henry James’s The Wings of the Dove”),經過研討修改後,獲得紐約大學教授青睞,收入其所主編之 Origins of English Literary Modernism 一書中(美國 Academica Press 出版)。
