【課程公告】114-2「專題討論及引導研究」

上課時間

  • 第 1 - 3 週：碩士一 (2/24、3/3、3/10 二 234節)；碩專一 (2/25、3/4、3/11 三 ABC節)，以上時段無須上課。
  • 第 4 - 12 週：安排 5 次與老師進行討論。
  • 第 16 週：前繳交報告。

指導日期與教授，請參考頁面下方附件；學生分組名單請查閱個人信箱。指導地點原則上為教授研究室，若有更動請依教授通知。

注意事項

  1. 請大家務必於第一週 2/23 - 2/26 完成加選。為使修課人數平均以利分組，同意 7-10 位日碩學生修習碩專「專題討論及引導研究」，請有意願之日碩同學至系辦登記並辦理紙本加選；系辦將依最終選課人數進行分組（原則上 4 人一組），每組（人）學生需接受 5 位老師指導。
  2. 指導時間原則上分別為第 4 ~ 12 週，日碩（二）234節、碩專（三）ABC節。系辦將於加選完成後公告全學期與老師討論之日期/地點，如需變更請與老師及同組同學共同決定後，告知系辦。
  3. 學生需於第 4 ~ 12 週與老師 meeting（共 5 次），第 16 週前學生需繳交 proposal 1 篇（不限領域），文學文化/應用語言 proposal 格式及撰寫原則俟後公告。
  4. 本課程之評分方式為：指導參與度 50%（5 位老師成績平均） + 1 篇 proposal 50%。

Class Schedule

  • Weeks 1–3:
    MA: No class on Feb. 24, Mar. 3, Mar. 10 (Tue) Periods 2–4.
    EMA: No class on Feb. 25, Mar. 4, Mar. 11 (Wed) Periods A–C.
  • Weeks 4–12: Five (5) scheduled meetings/discussions with the professors.
  • Week 16: Final deadline for Research Proposal submission.

Notices

  1. All students must complete the course addition process during Week 1 (Feb. 23–26). To balance class sizes and facilitate group work, 7–10 students from the MA program are permitted to enroll in the EMA program "Special Topics and Guided Research". MA students should register at the Department Office to complete the hard-copy add/drop form. Groups will be formed based on the final enrollment numbers (typically 4 students per group), with each group/student receiving guidance from five (5) different professors.
  2. In principle, advising sessions will take place during Weeks 4–12 during the following time slots: MA (Tue, Periods 2–4) and EMA (Wed, Periods A–C). The Department Office will announce the specific dates and locations for the entire semester after the enrollment period concludes. Any changes must be mutually agreed upon by the professors and all group members, and the Department Office must be notified.
  3. Students are required to attend five (5) meetings with their professors between Weeks 4 and 12. A research proposal (of any field) must be submitted by Week 16. Formatting and writing guidelines for Literature/Culture and Applied Linguistics tracks will be announced at a later date.
  4. Grading Policy:
    • Participation (50%): Based on the average score from five (5) professors.
    • Research Proposal (50%): One (1) submission required.
