Eric Yen-liang Lin is currently a Professor in the Department of English, also serving as the Chair of the Department, at National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics in 2013 from the University of Nottingham, UK. He has taught EFL at secondary and university levels for over 15 years. His research interests include corpus linguistics, multimodality, speech and gesture, language teaching research, and bilingual education. Dr. Lin is also the Director of the MOE APEC Advisory Team for Education Network. He has actively participated in the APEC EDNET and overseen several APEC capacity building projects since 2016.
